Rosé Three Ways

Rosé Three Ways

We love rosé all summer long and are always looking for new ways to enjoy our favorite warm-weather wine. Here are three variations worth trying — from a classic cocktail to the simplest sip of the season.

First up: the Rosé Royale. Combining our love of the spritz with our love of rosé, this cocktail from Ralph Lauren's Polo Bar in NYC has everything we want in a summer drink — rosé, Champagne, and a splash of orange and grapefruit liqueur. (Recipe via the NYT.)

Next: Rosé Lemonade. Simple, refreshing, and endlessly drinkable. Make a lemon simple syrup (recipe via Wine Enthusiast) and combine with rosé, or take the easy route and use store-bought lemonade. Pour equal parts over ice and garnish with a lemon slice.

Our final variation is the most effortless of all: Rosé Piscine. French for "swimming pool rosé," it's simply rosé served over ice in a large glass. Brigitte Bardot reportedly drank hers from an oversized cognac snifter — the glass so big it looked like a pool. It's the most chic way to sip rosé on a hot day, and honestly, no further instructions needed.
